Rodeo Time

Rodeo Time aka Rodeo was born April 11th 2010. He is out of a Paint mare, and from a Thoroughbred stallion. Both are chestnut, giving Rodeo his glorious color! I bought Rodeo on February 26th, 2011. He has just been gelded the previous month, and was ready for his new home! I was lucky in the fact that I had found him a few months prior to buying. This gave me the advantage, as when I was finally able to see him, the family that had seen him previously had to wait until I saw him before they could buy him.  
Before I even went out there, I had made my mind up on him. I had known for quite some time that he was the one. There were a few times where I found a horse that I thought I liked better, but for different reasons, I kept coming back to this little guy. The weekend I saw him, I bought him. Went and picked him up the next weekend, and it was official, I was the owner of Rodeo Time!

Since then we havent looked back. We have a close bond that helps us get things done, and fly through training! One thing about him though, he is a very social little guy, and he loves to work. He gets upset if you miss more than two days of barn time, thus I have to make sure I go out there at least every other day, or it is a disaster! He gets upset, and questions your authority is everything, and anything you try to do. But if you go out there a minimum of every other day, he is an angel, and will willingly do anything you ask of him!
